The outstanding academic achievements of South Australia's Year 12 students are recognised every year at the Governor’s Commendations and Merit Ceremony. The event has been held annually since 1989 and is hosted by the Governor of South Australia at Government House.

Official photographs of all award recipients was captured by SA School Photography. These are available free of charge to attendees via an online portal from 16 February 2026.

To access your photos:

2. Follow the prompts to register your details.
   NOTE: you’ll need to take a selfie to activate the facial recognition.
3. Once registered, you’ll be notified via SMS once your photos are available.
4. You can add your family members’ details so they can see and download your photos too!
