Our 2025 Professional Learning & Support plan is designed to elevate the professional development of teachers and leaders within SACE International schools. Tailored to deepen expertise, our programs aim to promote the collective contributions of educators towards enhancing the SACE program.
We believe that supporting teachers in their professional development contributes to our vision of students as thriving learners and ultimately maximises student success.

Audience: All SACE Teachers & SACE Coordinators

Mode: Online via Zoom
Description: Join us for a short, 30-minute Zoom session designed to introduce and explore the SACEi Communities of Practice (CoPs) platform. This session is tailored for teachers in EAL, Mathematical Methods, and Specialist Mathematics, and will provide practical insights into how CoPs support collaboration and exam readiness.
Through six short segments led by our Community Facilitators, you’ll learn about:
- The design and purpose of the platform
- How to access and navigate it
- Key features that enhance teaching practice
- Support available from the SACE Board
- The exciting potential of what this space could become
Whether you're new to CoPs or looking to deepen your engagement, this session will help you unlock the value of the platform and connect with your teaching community.
Event Name: Understanding Reasonable Adjustments and Special Provisions
Audience: SACE Coordinators and Teachers
When: 10 September 2025, 4 pm ACST
Mode: Online via Zoom
Description: This session aims to build understanding of how students can be supported through reasonable adjustments and special provisions. Eligibility information will be covered along with practical strategies and resources.
Event Name: Understanding Stage 2 Moderation and Marking Processes and Preparing for Assessment Submission
Audience: SACE Teachers
When: 16 September 2025, 3.30 pm ACST
Mode: Online via Zoom
Description: This session aims to build general understanding of moderation and marking processes. It will also feature practical information for teachers to support awareness of what is required when submitting materials for assessment.
This session is a repeat of the popular session held in 2024 and is highly recommended for teachers new to teaching the SACE or those who would like more information on assessment submission requirements.
Event Name: Activating Identities and Futures (AIF) Implementation Session
Audience: Teachers implementing AIF in 2026
When: 24 September 2025, 3.30 pm ACST
Mode: Online via Zoom
Description: This session will go through the key information needed to implement the new Stage 2 subject, Activating Identities and Futures, with information on the learning requirements, assessment types, criteria and standards. Learn more about how this subject incorporates metacognition, natural evidence of learning and uses feedback and perspectives to progress learning. Excerpts from samples will be available for reference.
