Responsibilities

As school leaders, you play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and administration of the SACE program within your school community. Your responsibilities encompass various aspects, including: 

  1. Curriculum Leadership: Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of the SACE curriculum within your school. Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure alignment with educational standards and learning outcomes. 
  2. Policy Implementation: Oversee the adherence to SACE policies, guidelines and regulations within your school. Ensure that all administrative procedures related to SACE, including assessment, grading and certification, are followed accurately and ethically. 
  3. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to support the delivery of the SACE program. This includes providing adequate staffing, funding and infrastructure to facilitate teaching and learning activities. 
  4. Professional Development: Facilitate professional development opportunities for teachers and staff involved in teaching SACE subjects. Support ongoing training and upskilling to enhance teaching effectiveness and student outcomes. 
  5. Student Support: Foster a supportive learning environment that prioritises student wellbeing and academic success. Implement initiatives to support student engagement, motivation and achievement throughout their SACE journey. 
  6. Data Management: Oversee the collection, analysis and interpretation of data related to SACE performance within your school. Use data insights to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making processes. 
  7. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with parents, students and external stakeholders to promote understanding and awareness of the SACE program. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to address concerns and foster positive relationships. 
  8. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to monitor the effectiveness and integrity of the SACE program within your school. Conduct regular reviews, evaluations and audits to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with standards. 
  9. Community Engagement: Engage with the broader community to promote the value and benefits of the SACE program. Establish partnerships with local businesses, universities and organisations to create opportunities for student enrichment and real-world learning experiences.
