PLATO (Professional Learning in Assessment and Teaching Online)

You can use PLATO to access courses and activities tailored for leaders, coordinators and teachers 24/7 to assist new staff in getting started and becoming familiar with procedures and key tasks throughout the year. Additionally, there are specific clarifying courses for all SACE teachers to support their interpretation and application of SACE performance standards by subject. 

Recommended courses to access include: 

• New Users - Welcome to PLATO (Provides an orientation on using the system) 
• Leaders New to SACE (International) Orientation Program (Provides information on their roles and responsibilities and the operational requirements for delivering the SACE in schools) 
• New SACE Coordinators Semester 1 & Semester 2 (Supports SACE coordinators and leaders in navigating their way through key policies and processes) 
• Teachers New to SACE (International) Orientation Program (Provides teachers who are new to SACE International with a range of resources, and guidelines on how and where to find the information they need to successfully deliver the SACE in their school) 
• Clarifying Courses Support interpretation of performance standards and grading.
