'AI resilient' learning and assessment plans
AI resilience is when a learning and assessment program is responsive to AI-driven disruptions. This is done by redesigning tasks and requires ongoing adaptation to the evolving capabilities of generative AI.
Learning and Assessment Plans (LAPs) and assessment tasks are designed by the teachers in accordance with the general specifications provided in SACE subject outlines and their specific class context.
They also specify student’s assessment conditions. An AI resilient LAP is one with specified assessment conditions that help verify student work is authentically their own—while maintaining assessment integrity, flexibility, and learning focus.
The following annotated LAPs demonstrate verifying assessment conditions that improve AI resilience and support learning in a sample program.
- Annotated Stage 1 Digital Technologies learning and assessment plan [DOC 105KB]
- Annotated Stage 2 Digital Technologies learning and assessment plan [DOC 1.3MB]
- Annotated Stage 1 General Mathematics learning and assessment plan [DOC 79KB]
- Annotated Stage 2 English learning and assessment plan [DOC 69KB]
We have also developed a LAP review process that teachers can use to assess the AI resilience of their own LAPs.
