SACE Overview

SACE is a high-quality, two-stage program delivered in English and developed to bring out the best in every student.

The SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education) is an outstanding choice for high achievers and an excellent pathway to university. It is designed for students typically aged 15-19 years and spans two years, equivalent to the Year 11 and 12 curriculum in Australian schools.

Certified by the SACE Board of South Australia, it is recognised by universities across Australia and worldwide, opening doors to unlimited study opportunities.

Teachers have the freedom to develop learning programs tailored to students' preferences and ambitions. They can incorporate country-specific materials and examples, ensuring the SACE remains relevant in different regions. Students can choose topics of interest and demonstrate their learning in various formats, not just through formal exams.

There is no upper age limit for the program, allowing students who have completed equivalent studies to potentially finish the SACE in as little as one year. A significant advantage of the SACE is the diverse range of subjects available, enabling students to create personalised programs that align with their interests and support their university and career aspirations.

English-Language Requirements

Classes in SACE are conducted in English. To succeed, students must meet certain English proficiency levels to start the SACE:

  • Stage 1: Equivalent to IELTS 5.0 +
  • Stage 2: Equivalent to IELTS 5.5 +

The SACE undertaken by students outside Australia is the same as that within Australia, with additional flexibility in subject choices to ensure global relevance.
