SACE is widely recognised and accepted by universities worldwide. Below, you'll find confirmation of SACE recognition in several of the most popular study destinations.
UK ENIC is the UK National Information Centre for global qualifications and skills. According to its database and statement guidance, the SACE is comparable to the overall standard GCE (A) level/Scottish Advanced Higher/Scottish Baccalaureate/Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate.
SACE is recognised by universities around the world, making it one of the best pathways to gain access to further study in virtually any city or country you choose. There are no limits on where SACE can take you.

The Comparative Education Service (CES), at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, has deemed the SACE as equivalent to the Secondary School Diploma in Canada. CES is one of the six members of the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada . CES assessment reports provide opinions on the assessment of academic credentials issued outside Canada.

Entry to a US university is usually based on the student's Grade Point Average (GPA). SACE results on the Record of Achievement will be converted to a GPA using a numerical scale to convert letter grading. Admission often also considers other factors such as a personal statement and SAT test results.
The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has granted equivalency for SACE against all National and State Board in India, enabling a seamless pathway for all SACE students to Indian public universities.

The Ministry of Education, Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka has determined that the SACE is equivalent to the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) of Sri Lanka.

SACE students who complete Biology, Chemistry and Physics in the same sitting, as required by Sri Lanka's Medical Education Regulations, are eligible for degree approval by the Sri Lanka Medical Council. This is important for students planning to practise medicine in Sri Lanka after graduation.
