Module 5: Assessment in the SACE - Part 2 - Vertical Alignment and External Assessment

This session aims to develop an understanding of course progression and external assessment.

In this 60-minute interactive Zoom session, we will cover vertical alignment and how teaching Stage 1 prepares students for success at Stage 2. We will also delve into external assessments at Stage 2, including investigations and exams, and show you how to access relevant resources. Participants should bring their laptops and Stage 1 and 2 performance standards. After the session, teachers are expected to compare and contrast performance standards at Stage 1 and Stage 2 for their subject and access past Stage 2 exams to enhance their understanding.
